The valuation provides advisors with an objective, 3rd party opinion of value based on actual comparable sales in the financial services industry.

Leveraging our proprietary nationwide database and extensive expertise, our valuation service provides the most current and accurate valuation of your financial services business. Our team has expertise valuing independent RIAs, IBDs, securities practices, accounting practices, insurance agents/agencies, and OSJs. During the process, the SRG team also helps identify key value drivers and detractors, helping you understand your value as you plan for succession, equity sharing, buying a practice, creating a death and disability plan, or benchmarking.

The Appraisal is custom-tailored valuation solution for advisors who would like a more comprehensive analysis. This enterprise-level appraisal provides an analysis leveraging the three traditional valuation methods, including market-based, income-based, and asset-based.

While many appraisals rely solely on software or industry averages, or are done by industry experts lacking appropriate training and credentials, SRG’s team has both the industry expertise and training/certifications. Our approach is to work closely with your team to understand the data, then provide an accurate and actionable report that provides advisors with a comprehensive understanding of their business based on a specific set of criteria.
