William Nabors, MBA, MSF, joined SRG as a Senior Associate on the Transaction Advisory Services team. He brings experience from both sides of the deal table, having advised privately held business owners through sell-side transactions and led in-house M&A for a private equity-backed platform.

Most recently, Will was a Business Development Manager, M&A & Compliance at Nothing Bundt Cakes, a Roark Capital portfolio company, where he led franchise mergers and acquisitions from initial outreach through closing.

Before that, he was an Investment Banking Associate at Generational Equity, where he advised privately held business owners on sell-side transactions across industries including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, healthcare, technology, industrials, transportation, and food and beverage. He was selected by firm leadership to help lead a firm-wide initiative to modernize the firm’s valuation approach.

Will holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and English from Denison University.

A Pittsburgh native, Will returned home to the South Hills in late 2025 after five and a half years in Dallas, where he earned his MBA and MSF and built his M&A career. Outside of work, he’s a devoted Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan with a soft spot for the SMU Mustangs, and can often be found on the golf course or the pickleball court. A former collegiate lacrosse goaltender, he stays competitive through fantasy football and follows sports analytics closely. Will is a proud SMU Cox alumnus and donor who enjoys spending time with his family and his golden retrievers, Callie and Bailey.

Fun Fact: Will was a goaltender for Denison University’s men’s lacrosse program, which won three NCAC championships (2014, 2016, and 2017) and advanced to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight in 2016 and the Final Four in 2017 during his career.
