Microsoft Teams Access Help
If you’re having trouble accessing our Teams meeting, you may need to adjust your pop-up blocker settings. Follow these steps to do so:
For Google Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select Settings.
- Scroll down and click Privacy and security.
- Select Site settings.
- Scroll down to Pop-ups and redirects.
- Under Default behavior, select Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects (or add Microsoft Teams to the “Allowed” list by clicking “Add” under “Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects”).
- Return to the Teams meeting link and refresh the page.
- If prompted, allow mic and camera access.
For Microsoft Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three-dot menu and select Settings.
- Go to Cookies and site permissions.
- Scroll down and select Pop-ups and redirects.
- Toggle Block (recommended) off, or add Microsoft Teams to the Allow list.
- Return to the Teams meeting and refresh the page.
- When prompted, allow mic and camera access.
For Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Firefox.
- Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) and select Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to Permissions and find Block pop-up windows.
- Click Exceptions, type teams.microsoft.com, and click Allow.
- Click Save Changes, then restart your browser.
- When rejoining the Teams meeting, allow mic and camera access.
For Safari (Mac Users):
- Open Safari.
- Click Safari in the top menu and select Settings (or Preferences).
- Go to the Websites tab and select Pop-up Windows.
- Find teams.microsoft.com in the list and change it to Allow.
- Close settings and refresh the Teams meeting page.
- Allow Teams to access your microphone and camera when prompted.
