Project Coordinator - M&A Transaction Coordinator


Summary of Role:

The M&A Transaction Administrator works with our Project Managers (PM), assisting with merger and acquisition-related projects for clients. The position requires a high level of independent work and strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. We are looking for a self-starter who is detail oriented and loves to solve problems for the clients in new and creative ways. There is long-term advancement opportunity for this position as industry and company familiarity increases and the company expands.


Examples of candidate's responsibilities include:

  • Supports projects for deal-making services for our small business owner clientele, from project inception to project completion
  • Prepare project resources - including preparation of form contracts for purchase and sale, preparing cash flow models using existing templates, reviewing online disclosures, etc.
  • Assist team and clients with negotiating mergers and acquisitions - including purchase price, tax strategies, securing financing, etc.
  • Work with team and client to tailor form contracts and financial models to client needs
  • Work with team and client's legal and tax counsel
  • Analyze, track and sort data from projects for reporting purposes
  • Communicates directly with clients as needed via email/phone
  • Schedules and participates in project-based phone calls with PM
  • Maintains electronic and physical files and manages documents
  • Utilizes and develops project workflows to ensure consistency

Required Skills:

  • Analytical and organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with contract preparation/legal writing
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Salesforce or other similar CRM or project management systems (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of experience in a related field; or, alternatively, high school diploma plus 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Legal experience a plus (attorney, paralegal, legal secretary, or other related experience)

Employment: Full-time; Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
