Project Coordinator - Business Valuation Analyst


Summary of Role:

The Project Coordinator - Business Valuation Analyst assists the Sr. Project Coordinator and Project Manager in all project-related tasks, including core strategies for projects, specifically the valuation projects - assisting with data entry and analysis to financial models, preparation of project deliverables, limited communication with clients as needed (via email, some phone), monitoring valuation projects' statuses, analyzing/compiling data for whitepapers and other internal purposes, developing core strategies for projects, and creating additional project deliverables,. The position requires a high level of independent work, strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. We are looking for our next Excel/data "go to" person who is a self-starter and detail oriented. As part of the team, the Project Coordinator – Business Valuation Analyst provides cross-functional support and has the opportunity to get to know every aspect of the business. There is long-term advancement opportunity for this position as industry and company familiarity increases and the company expands.

Core Duties will Include:

Project Based:

  • Support management with projects and deliverables for all services (primarily the business valuations) from project inception to project completion
  • Creates, monitors, and completes tasks in CRM system
  • Analyzes, tracks, and sorts data from valuation projects for reporting purposes
  • Extrapolates data from third-party reports
  • Able to conduct research and report on findings
  • Communicates directly with clients, as needed via email and phone
  • Assists with project-related tasks


  • Schedules and conducts project-based phone calls
  • Maintains electronic and physical files and manages documents
  • Maintains project-based entries on Project Manager’s calendar and in CRM system
  • Provides frequent updates on status of projects

Operational Tasks:

  • Develops project workflows
  • Improves project management processes
  • Assists with software updates and improvements


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel – Must have knowledge with advanced knowledge of Excel functions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed
  • Strong team player with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business from an accredited college/university
  • CPA or other related financial designation with 1+ year of experience are a plus
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry a plus

Employment: Full-time; Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 5:00pm)
