Portland, Ore. (November 8, 2017) – Succession Resource Group (SRG), the leading provider of succession and valuation services to advisors, is pleased to announce that Kristen Grau, CPA, CVA has earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).

The CVA designation is an indication to the business, professional and legal communities that recipients have met the rigorous standards of professionalism, expertise, objectivity and integrity in the field of business valuation and related consulting disciplines. This CVA designation, established by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts® (NACVA®), is the only valuation credential accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies®.

David Grau Jr., President of Succession Resource Group, added, “Succession planning is such an important process for every advisor to consider, and valuation is the first step on that journey. We promote constant improvement and refinement personally and professionally, and are really excited to have Kristen obtain this additional credential as it will only help us better serve our clients.”

Applicants for the CVA certification must meet certain CVA qualifications, meet an experience threshold, attend Business Valuation Certification training, pass the CVA examination, maintain membership in NACVA, and renew their certification every three years.

Joining the company in 2012, Kristen acts as the company’s Valuations Director and assists with M&A transactions. Prior to joining SRG, she was an accountant at Moss Adams and Delap CPA, regional accounting firms in Portland, where she primarily focused on small business owners/individual tax returns and pass-through entities.
